Gateway Construction was integral to the track renewal works at Embankment Station, specifically for the District and Circle lines during the planned closure in August 2021. Our team played a vital role in raising the existing track level and installing the new track as part of the track replacement project. Before the August possession period, we assisted the Project Contractor (PC) with essential pre-works during June and July, including the installation of angle irons to act as shutters for track leveling, drilling for dowel bar installation, and fabricating reinforcement cages off-site for later use.

During the August possession period, Gateway provided continued support in the removal of the existing track, installation of RC cages on site, and assisted with the new track installation. Our team also contributed to concrete pouring, finishing, and curing, ensuring the new track system was securely set and ready for use.
