Since our establishment in 2008, Gateway Construction has played a key role in significant rail projects, including signal upgrades, infrastructure enhancements, and reactive maintenance. Working primarily as principal contractor, we have successfully delivered projects of all sizes, from £10k up to £25m. Our latest framework agreement contract award in 2024 with PLU (Picadilly Line Upgrade) relates predominantly to tunnel sections where there are 32 platforms across 19 stations that require Nosing Stones to be raised, lowered or recessed. The 32 platforms have been split into seven discreet Work Packages. Circa £25m.

We take pride in offering a highly skilled workforce capable of meeting the unique challenges of the rail network. Our staff possess a range of certifications and competencies, including First Aid, Fire Watch, Confined Space, PASMA, Lift and Escalator operations, Track Trolley handling, Securing Points, Basic Track Awareness, PTS and PRS. This breadth of expertise enables us to execute projects safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all regulations.
